Objective: After 24 weeks, to assess the effect of the coadministration of sitagliptin 100 mg q.d. and pioglitazone 30 mg q.d. compared to pioglitazone alone on HbA1c. Objective: To assess the safety and tolerability of the coadministration of sitagliptin 100 mg q.d. and pioglitazone 30 mg q.d.
