The objective of this trial is to assess the efficacy and safety of BAY 59-7939 10 mg once daily dosing in extended prevention of VTE in men and women aged 18 years or above undergoing elective total hip replacement.

Inclusion criteria

  • Prevention of venous thromboembolism
